Precautions for using hydraulic components

. Hydraulic piping

(1) Select oil pipes according to pressure and usage scenarios. Oil pipes must have sufficient strength, smooth and clean inner walls, no sand, rust, or oxide scale. For pipes stored for a long time, they should be pickled, thoroughly cleaned, flushed, and inspected before processing. (2) When cutting pipes with a saw, the non perpendicularity between the section and the axis direction should be ± 0.5 °. Sharp edges should be blunt and iron filings should be removed. When processing bent pipes, the ellipticity of the section is allowed to be 10%. When its outer diameter is less than 14mm, it can be bent by hand and general tools. For thicker steel pipes, manual or motorized bending machines should be used, and the bending radius should generally be three times larger than the outer diameter of the pipe. (3) The installation requirements for the pipeline are to have the shortest route and as few turns as possible. The pipeline section should be equipped with an exhaust device to allow for air release during startup. (4) When installing rubber hoses, avoid sharp turns, with a bending radius R ≥ (9-10) D (where D is the outer diameter of the hose). Do not bend near the root of the joint, and ensure that the distance from the hose joint to the starting point of the bend is L ≥ 6D. The hose should not be twisted during operation. (5) The oil suction pipe should not leak or have too much resistance to prevent cavitation caused by difficulty in intake or oil suction. (6) The oil return pipe should extend below the oil level of the tank to prevent splashing and bubble formation. The return oil pipe of the overflow valve cannot be directly connected to the inlet of the pump. It must pass through the oil tank, otherwise the oil temperature will be too high. (7) The installation of all pipelines is carried out in two stages. First, a trial assembly is carried out, and the pipe joints and flanges are spot welded in the appropriate positions. After the trial assembly of all pipelines is qualified, they are removed and pickled before formal installation. [1] 2. Other hydraulic components

(1) All hydraulic components must undergo pressure and sealing tests before installation. Before installation, various automatic control instruments should be calibrated to avoid errors. (2) When installing various control valves, attention should be paid to the orientation of their inlet and return ports. When installing valve components with flanges, the screws should not be tightened too tightly, as over tightening can sometimes cause poor sealing. (3) The installation of hydraulic cylinders should be firm and reliable. To prevent the influence of thermal expansion, one end of the cylinder must remain floating when the stroke is large and the temperature is high. The sealing ring of the hydraulic cylinder should not be too tight, especially the U-shaped ring, to avoid excessive resistance. (4) The axial deviation between the hydraulic pump drive shaft and the electric motor drive shaft should be less than 0.1mm. Flexible couplings are generally used for connection, and it is not allowed to directly drive the pump shaft to rotate with tape to prevent excessive radial force on the pump shaft, which may affect the normal operation of the pump. (5) When installing a hydraulic pump, its rotation direction and inlet/outlet ports should meet the technical requirements. (6) The suction height of various hydraulic pumps is generally less than 0.5mm.
